What's different on a phone
- Every timer works, with buttons large enough to tap.
- The Float and Second screen buttons are hidden. They are computer features.
- Full screen switches to a landscape layout. See Full screen on a phone.
Tablets
Tablets count as computers. Float and Second screen show where the browser supports them, and full screen keeps the normal layout in either orientation.
Keep the screen on
A phone may dim or lock during a long countdown, which hides the clock but doesn't stop it. When you unlock, the time is right. For a clock that stays visible, set the phone's auto-lock to a longer time or plug it in.
Sound on a phone
Phones only play the alarm after you've tapped the page, and a silent or ring switch can mute the browser. If the phone is locked when time runs out, the browser may not play sound until you return to it.
